DASH PLAQUE NIGHT

SEPTEMBER 11

Dash plaques to the first 100 cars.
Cruise Night is in full swing! The South Shore's best cruise night is every Monday from 4:30 'till dusk. Our weekly "All Car" cruise night at the Abington Ale House, 1235 Bedford Street, (Rte. 18) Abington.

Everyone is welcome. Muscle cars, antiques, hot rods, classics, bikes… bring what you have.

We are here every Monday evening until mid September spinning your favorite oldies, selling our 50/50 raffle tickets and picking a weekly winner who will be invited back at the end of the season to compete for cash prizes. Come on down and check out all the beautiful cars, and maybe go home a little bit wealthier than when you arrived. Cruise night is 'weather permitting', so if the roads are dry, were gonna be here.
Check here on the calendar page. We will always post a cancellation notice if we are cancelling due to weather.

The South Shore Corvette Club web site's goal is to provide members, prospective members and interested visitors information related to the Corvette community , both far and near, both SSCC sponsored and those sponsored by other organizations.

The Event Calendar Page is the main place you can look for event information.

The Event Calendar page will show you at a glance what is coming up and by clicking on any date in BLUE you will be shown the information we have at that time.

Thinking about joining? We have an online application. Fill it out and submit it. It doesn't get much easier.
Mission
The South Shore Corvette Club (SSCC), located in Weymouth, Massachusetts is devoted to the pleasures of the Corvette. The style, ride, sounds, and the spectacle of driving one of the best sports cars built in the world today.

Philanthropy
In recent years, the club has added as part of its mission, charitable donations. We have targeted local charities, most notable the local food pantries located in the towns of our members. We provide cash gifts at the holidays.

We chose local causes because most are staffed by volunteers and 100% of our donation goes directly to the needy. We encourage everyone to support your local food pantry.

History
The South Shore Corvette Club was founded in 1962 by a few individuals who owned Corvettes and wanted to meet others who shared an interest in the cars.

Originally, the SSCC primary focus was car shows. Car shows continued to be the main focus of the club until 1997. At that time, the club stopped holding its own show. We have many members who continue to participate in other Corvette club car shows throughout the New England area.
Today, the SSCC has grown to over 100 families. While it is our shared love of Corvettes that is the foundation for our club, it is our members unique backgrounds, knowledge and enthusiasm which makes our club successful and active.

You will now find us at our weekly Cruise Night during the warmer months, in addition to many activities and events we hold throughout the entire year for our members. We pride ourselves on our charitable contributions throughout the year to local agencies and causes which would not be possible without the active and caring membership of the SSCC.

We love to meet fellow Vette enthusiasts!
